Yes, Special Care is licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.


Do I have to pay any money up front?
No, there are no up-front fees.

How much do services cost?
While SPECIAL CARE has set hourly rates for our fees, the caregivers we refer are independent contractors, so therefore the amount they are paid is an agreement between you and them. Sound intimidating? It shouldn't! This is what we do, we will help you through the process.


How long does it take to set services up?
While we prefer advance notice, in most instances, we can provide same day services. We understand that emergencies happen, and we want to be there for you.


How do I get started?
That's easy, just give us a call. We can arrange for services by phone or come to you for a face-to-face conversation.



Is there a cancellation fee?
No, but we do ask for 24-hours notice of cancellation or a change in service.
